Orr Bog Walk
The Bog Walk is a half mile loop trail that is a handicap and stroller accessible trail that offers visitors a chance to explore
the diverse wetland ecosystem and wildlife. The Bog Walk is located behind the Orr City Hall and Visitor Center. This
short, yet engaging experience is for visitors of all ages and abilities. The bog walk has been recently updated, providing a
smooth and sturdy surface.
As you walk, you will encounter a variety of wetland types. This unique opportunity provides visitors with an experience to
connect with Minnesota’s natural beauty.
Rock Wall
The rock wall is an iconic stop in the City of Orr. This historic overlook rest stop area is listed on the national register of historic places. It was constructed in 1939 by the Civilian Conservation Corps (Known as the CCC) and is a perfect wayside rest stop overlooking the beautiful bay of Pelican Lake.
Projects happening in the coming future with collaboration with MnDOT Historic Roadside Properties and Waysides (HRPW) and MN DNR:
1. New 11’ Fishing Pier and Cribbing
2. Installation of stairs and walkway to improve accessibility to the fishing pier
Tennis Courts

Project update to the tennis courts coming soon. The city is looking to apply for grant opportunities to resurface and update the courts to accommodate pickleball.
Skating Rink and Warming Shack
Our Skating rink and Warming Shack are available when weather conditions allow for ice making. The key is available for checkout at Norman’s One Stop and the Orr Liquor Store. Must be 18 years of age or older to check out the key.
